Louis grew up in the historic witch-county of Essex. He studied Illustration at the Arts University Bournemouth before moving to the birthplace of Blackbeard – Bristol.

He loves to create characters and narratives, taking strong inspiration from the folklore of the British Isles and beyond. He has worked on editorial work for independent papers, film storyboards, boardgame artwork and plenty of personal commissions.

2023 – 2024 Louis has worked as an associate lecturer for the creative computing course at Bath Spa University, teaching videogame art to the students. He currently works remotely, whilst adventuring across the globe – seeking new inspirations.
